Murder Update

This will be an update for yesterday's murder in Southwest Fresno.
On Thursday, December 28th, 2006, 38-year-old Otis Jones was found deceased inside his residence at 2414 South Holly. Subsequent investigation determined that Jones was murdered and his car was stolen. Additional investigation resulted in the identification of 37-year-old Tim James Stanbrough as a person of interest in the murder investigation. Stanbrough is a parolee and validated gang member with an extensive violent criminal history. Stanbrough is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for a felony no-bail parole violation warrant.

Suspect Description
Tim Stanbrough: Hispanic male adult, 5'10" tall, 160 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair, tattoos of "13" and "South Side" on back of neck
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tim Stanbrough or the stolen car are urged to immediately call Homicide Detective Mark Yee at 621-2451, or if they wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP where $5000 cash reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
