Child Safety Day/Bike Giveaway
08/14/2006
It’s back to school time and the Fresno Police Department wants to make sure your kids are ready.
Join the Fresno Police Department Mounted Patrol Unit for a morning filled with great information on child safety, free fingerprinting, fun activities and a chance to win a brand new bike.
Any child who gets fingerprinted will get their name put in a raffle where one lucky boy and one lucky girl will peddle away with a brand new bike. The fingerprinting is sponsored by Fresno P.A.L. and Youth Leadership Council.
Kids will have a chance to meet Fresno Police Officers and interact with two horses and one dog from the Mounted Patrol and K-9 units.
All the fun takes place Tuesday, August 15 at the Holy Cross Center, 421 F Street (directly across from the Poverello House). The event runs from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon.
