MEETS: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month at 5:00 P.M., Fresno City Hall, Room 2165N (Conference Room ‘A’, 2nd Floor).

APPOINTMENTS:
There are a total of seven commissioners appointed by the Mayor with Council Approval. A commissioner must reside within the city limits of the city of Fresno.
FUNCTIONS:
The Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC) has the responsibilities of a Community Development Commission as defined in the Community Development Law of the State of California (Section 3300 of the Health and Safety Code.) The HCDC serves as an advisory function to the City Council and Redevelopment Agency on matters of community development, redevelopment, housing and economic development.

Commissioners serve four-year terms. In the event the member’s term expires, the commissioner may continue his/her term of office, with the Mayor’s approval, until such time as the member resigns, or is replaced by the Mayor.
