Volunteer Opportunities in Code Enforcement
What is Code Enforcement’s Volunteer Program?
This is a program that allows individuals and/or groups help keep our City a clean and vibrant place to live.
Why does Code Enforcement have a Volunteer Program?
The Volunteer Program is another way of educating the public in what we do and helps us reach our goal of improving the life, health, and safety of our community.
Do I need any experience?
Experience is always helpful, but not necessary. We will train you to do the job.
How do I participate?
Contact Code Enforcement at 621-8400, and ask to speak to our Outreach Coordinator. They can tell you what volunteer opportunities are available and how to get started.
What kinds of things would I be doing?
You could be in out City Hall office, doing research, receptionist duties, data entry, and more. Or you could get involved in Graffiti Paint-Outs, needed property clean-ups, neighborhood outreach opportunities, or even as a weekend observer.
