The Fresno City Employees Health and Welfare Trust Plan is designed to give participants control of their own health care. Participants have freedom of choice in choosing the Hospital and Physician they wish to use. However, the Plan offers considerable financial advantage to participants if the provider selected has contracted with Blue Shield of California.
One of the many benefits available to participants in the Fresno City Employees Health and Welfare Trust Plan is access to the Blue Shield of California Nurse Help Line. The attached brochure describes this benefit in more detail.
