Aquatics Class Descriptions
The PARENT-TOT Class
Water Adjustment skills taught through the parent to the first-time and/or intimidated swimmer.
The STARFISH Class
Water adjustment, personal water safety skills, comfort in the water, and working with others are emphasized.
The TADPOLES Class
Students are exposed to basic swimming skills, such as breath control, paddling, kicking, and floating.
The GOLDFISH Class
Improves Tadpoles skills and introduces buoyancy, body position, propulsion, and coordinated strokes.
The SHARKS Class
Increases swimmers' endurance, water safety skills and introduces them to additional coordinated strokes.
The DOLPHIN Class
Students are taught coordination of movements in order to swim more smoothly, efficiently and for longer distances.
The JUNIOR GUARD Class
4 weeks of introduction to life guarding skills for youth 12 - 15 years.
The SNORKELING Class
Learn snorkeling Tuesdays through Thursdays at Bullard Pool. Must provide your own mask, fins and snorkel; Must be 7 years old.
The ADULT BEGINNER Class
Beginning level swimming for adults (evenings at Fresno High School Pool).
The WATER EXERCISE Class
Stay in shape while your kids learn to swim at Mosqueda, Airways, Bullard and Frank H. Ball Pools.
