Lions Den Skateboard Park
The Lions Den Skateboard Park is 26,000 square feet of skateboarder heaven. The skate park offers skateboarding for all ages and levels of experience including trick equipment such as bowls, ramps and grinding poles. The park is all concrete and open from 8 am to 10 pm daily except when weather or graffiti prevents. The park is staffed part time.

The skateboard park has enjoyed large participation since its opening is 2002 and has proven to be a great place for participants to improve their skills and mentor each other on common ground.

Melody Neighborhood Center Skate Park
Now open!  This modular skate park features a 5 foot half pipe with hip jump, box ramp, grind rails & benches and 5 foot wedge.  5935 E. Shields in Central East Fresno.  On Shields just West of Fowler Ave.


City of Fresno Skate Park Ordinance

Rules and Regulations:
Protective equipment (ASTM or CPSC standard helmet, elbow pads, etc.) shall be worn at all times within the skate park.
All bikes and scooters are prohibited within the skate park.
No food or beverage or food/beverage containers allowed within the skate park
No person shall be in the Skate Park outside of posted hours of operation (8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
No smoking allowed within the skate park.
Any violation of these rules may result in the issuance of an administrative or criminal citation.

Fines and Penalties:
$50 for First violation
$100 for Second violation
$200 for Third and all subsequent violations (The parent or guardian will be jointly and severally liable with the minor for the fine amount imposed)
Equipment may be seized after the Third and subsequent violations

 

 

BMX Bike Park at Mosqueda Community Center

The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is currently constructing the first bike only, all concrete bike park in California. The park is an estimated 30,000 square feet and fully funded by grants.
