City of Fresno to Create Universally Accessible Park

WHAT: The City of Fresno Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department (PRCS) would like to invite the media to join Mayor Alan Autry and PRCS Director Randy Cooper as they announce the dedication of four acres to create a universally accessible park.

The four acres, located in West/Central Fresno, will feature multiple amenities designed to be universally accessible to all citizens regardless of age or ability. As PRCS has already begun community meetings to plan the project and several park concepts and partners will be announced.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 10 a.m.
