| FRESNO, CA (September 7, 2007) – The Fresno City Fire Department is urging residents to take extra precautions during the San Joaquin Valley’s current air quality alert. The alert called due to smoke impacts from the Moonlight wildfire in Plumas County is affecting Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Kern counties. The Fresno Fire Department asks residents to be aware they may detect a heavy odor of smoke; this may be due to smoke from the Moonlight wildfire. >more |

| WHAT: On Friday 06/15/2007 at approximately 0249hours, fire crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire at 2106 N Fruit. Upon examination of the fire scene arson investigators determined that multiple fire origins were identified inside and outside the residence, including a vehicle parked in the backyard.
