WHAT: Fresno City Fire Chief Randy Bruegman will attend the North Central Fire Protection District’s meeting tonight, where the NCFD Board is expected to vote on a proposal to merge services. Chief Bruegman has proposed multiple plans that would result in a significant increase in fire protection. Under the Chief’s proposals the Department’s fire protection coverage would stretch west of Kerman, and elevate overall fire service to residents of both the NCFD response area, and City of Fresno.
