The Annual Box Cart Races are presented by the Fresno Fire Department's Retired Firefighters Breakfast club and the Fresno City Firefighters Local 753. The races are coordinated by Retired Fire Captain Daniel Scarbery and Firefighter Richard Griffith. This event is presented simply to bring the community closer together.

The Box Cart Races are held in June at Woodward Park. This is a fun and entertaining event that brings families and friends together simply in the spirit of fun. A voluntary donation of $3.00 is accepted to benefit the Craycroft Home for Children.
