Perea to be Honored at Fresno City College“100 Stars for 100 Years” Dinner

Fresno, CA (May 12, 2010) On Wednesday, May 12th at 6:30 PM, Councilmember Henry T. Perea will be honored as part of the “100 Stars For 100 Years” during the Student Outstanding Leadership Awards dinner in the Fresno City College cafeteria. This award focuses on exemplary alumni and staff of Fresno City College during the past 100 years. Councilmember Perea will be honored as a former student, local political leader and community influence.

“This is a very special honor for me to receive. I began my education at City College and that is where I was given a foundation for learning that I still use today. California’s community colleges are an important piece of our higher education system and I am proud to be named as one of their success stories.”
