06/26/09  Perea Directs City to Introduce Twitter, measure is aimed at improving constituent services
Fresno, CA (June 26, 2009) In an effort to improve communication with the residents of Fresno Councilmember Perea has asked the City Managers’ office to bring a Twitter application to the 621-CITY call-in number. This application will allow residents to use their Twitter accounts to report information such as potholes, missing signs, burnt out streetlights or other City issues anytime day or night. 05/20/09  Perea Wins Approval of Prescription Drug Program
Fresno, CA (May 20, 2009) On April 30th, 2009, Councilmember Henry T. Perea won unanimous support for a resolution calling for participation in the National League of Cities Prescription Drug Card Program. The program provides prescription drug discount cards that can be distributed to local residents and used at participating pharmacies to receive up to 20% off medications. >more
