Perea and River Park Partner to Support American Diabetes Association

Fresno, CA (August 24, 2009) On Tuesday, August 25, 2009, Councilmember Henry T. Perea and Tracy Kashian of River Park Management will launch the American Diabetes Association’s month long donation drive. The kickoff press conference will take place on Tuesday at the River Park Farmer’s Market at 6PM. The official donation drive will begin on September 1st, with donation canisters being placed at all participating River Park retail and restaurants. Local efforts to fight diabetes will also include the 4th Annual Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes at Chukchansi Park on September 19th.
