Fresno, CA (December 14, 2008) From December, 14th to December, 19th Councilmember Henry T. Perea will host a delegation from the People Republic of China. The group will be traveling the United States on a political study tour with The American Council of Young Political leaders and Councilmember Perea has been selected to host the California leg of the tour.

The group will arrive on Fresno in Sunday, December, 14th, travel to Sacramento on Tuesday and then San Francisco on Wednesday. While in California the delegates will meet with government and business officials and tour such campuses as Fresno State University and Google’s Mountain View facility. Perea, who is a member of the ACYPL and toured Egypt and Jordan with the group in 2005, is extremely honored to be chosen as a host.
