Perea Brings Back Pet Night

Fresno, CA (August 15, 2008) On Friday, August 15th, due to popular demand Councilmember Henry T. Perea, Alta Vista Financial and the H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation will bring back Pet Night to Movies In The Park at Eaton Plaza. Starting at 6PM another 20 coupons for a free spay or neuter of a cat or dog will be given away.
At last Friday’s Movie in the Park Councilmember Perea donated funds to sponsor the first 20 tickets. This week Alta Vista Financial will donate funds for additional coupons that will be given out along with free information by Councilmember Perea and District 7 and HOPE staff.
“I think the success of this event showed that most people want to do the right thing, they just need some help sometimes. And that’s my job as a Councilmember, to find whatever ways I can to help my constituency. Who knows, if there’s as much demand as there was last Friday maybe we’ll be seeing Pet Night Part III.”
