Perea Elected President of Latino Caucus
Fresno, CA (September 21, 2007) Council President Henry T. Perea is pleased to announce his new position as President of the League of California Cities Latino Caucus. Perea was elected to the position at the League of California Cities recent Annual Conference Forum and Reception. Perea was previously elected Vice President in 2005.
The Latino Caucus provides a statewide network for Latino elected officials, interfaces with the League of California Cities and the California State Legislature, develops the leadership of Caucus members, and participates in the development of public policy affecting cities and the Latino community.
