Perea Invited to Address Top CEO’s on Innovative Health Project

Fresno, CA (October 9, 2007) Council President Henry T. Perea is honored to be invited to speak at the 2007 Big Task Weekend about the Healthy Fresno program. Big Task Weekend is an invitation only roundtable discussion about improving health in America. The weekend brings together top executives to focus together on their goal of creating a healthier America.
This year Council President Perea will join the discussion by explaining the Healthy Fresno program. The program encourages Fresno residents, health care providers, employers, and community leaders to work together to create programs that prevent illness and disease through better education and a healthier lifestyle. The city of Fresno is one of two cities in America to receive a grant for this type of program.
