Fresno, CA (May 25, 2006) On Friday, May 26, Councilmember Henry T. Perea and Fresno Police Officers Association President Jacky Parks will announce the start of their weight loss challenge. Last week during National Fitness Day Henry T. Perea and Jacky Parks announced a bet to determine who could loose the most body fat. This Friday at 10:45AM the challenge will begin at the FPOA headquarters on Van Ness when Perea and Parks will officially announce their start weights.

The competition will last until September when the winner will receive baseball tickets to either a Giants or a Dodgers game. Perea, a Dodgers fan, hopes to win the tickets, but is also looking forward to this opportunity to focus on his own health and wellbeing.
