Fresno, CA (April 19, 2006) On Wednesday, April 19th, Acting Council President Henry T. Perea will join a trade delegation to Oaxaca, Mexico. The delegation, which will depart from FYI airport on April 19th and return on April 23rd, will give education, cultural, business, and government representatives a chance to learn more about the Mexican State of Oaxaca. While visiting, members of the delegation will have the opportunity to meet with high-level business and government officials in addition to touring the historic State.

Acting Council President Perea is extremely excited to have been invited join this delegation. This is a historic opportunity to forge a lasting friendship between one of the fastest growing cities in California and one of the fastest growing States in Mexico. Perea feels that Fresno and Oaxaca have much to offer each other and is enthusiastic about future relationships between the regions.
