Welcome and greetings from District 3! Communicating with my constituents is my top priority and I hope that you find this site to be a resource as well as an informative way for us to keep in touch on important issues that affect you.
I have lived and worked all of my life in District 3, I have been a neighbor to many of you over the years. I know first hand that when neighbors pull together, their voices can be heard. Join me in the effort to have our neighborhood – District 3 – work for us!
The neighborhood and its residents are the core of our community. It is incumbent upon us all to build a strong foundation for our city, our district and our neighborhoods.
Public safety, police and fire, continues to be a major concern for all of Fresno’s citizens. I work diligently to see that the resources are available to ensure our public safety. While balancing the everyday needs of good roads and services.
Basic city services define the quality of life in a neighborhood. When the services are not working, the neighborhoods suffer. Our neighborhoods should not be confronted with blighted conditions, including drug dealers, abandoned homes, unsuitable housing, and unkept alleys. I will work with all neighborhood residents and landlords to the best of my ability to eliminate these problems. But I can’t do these things without you.
We must work to ensure that a fair share of the jobs created from the economic activity in District 3 go to it’s residents. I will work to secure economic projects that create jobs close to where we live and ensure that the types of business activity we support results in the development of jobs in our immediate neighborhoods.
Included in this site are useful resources and information to empower you with the tools to help build neighborhoods that work. I invite you to explore the other areas of this site to learn more about the district and how my office can help you.
I would like to hear your ideas. Please do not hesitate to contact me at (559) 621-8000 or e-mail me at District3@fresno.gov whenever you have an opinion or need assistance. By informing me of your views, you enable me to provide quality service.
Thank you for your support.
