What is FAX Handy Ride Service?

FAX Handy Ride is a service designed to meet the transportation needs of eligible persons with disabilities who cannot functionally use the FAX City bus system.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 requires public transportation agencies to provide paratransit service to eligible persons with disabilities which is comparable to the City bus service. Handy Ride is a shared ride, curb-to-curb service, provided from any origin to any destination throughout the service area for any trip purpose. Handy Ride operates during the same hours and days as the FAX City bus system.
