What is a transfer and how do I use it?What is a transfer and how do I use it?
A transfer is a slip of paper that allows you to use up to two additional buses in order to complete your one-way trip. You must ask the bus driver for a transfer at the time you first board the bus and pay your fare. Transfers are valid for ninety minutes past the time cut on the transfer.
Bus transfers can be made only where routes intersect, and are not valid for layovers or return trips. If you are transferring to a second bus, give the driver your transfer and if planning to use a third bus, let the driver know you will need to use the transfer again for the last leg of your one-way trip.
