Share Your Travel Photos With Fresno Yosemite International Airport
10/22/2010
The City of Fresno Airports Department would like to share pictures of your travels with the community in their new digital photo display titled “Places and people… People and places.”
Share the adventure and excitement of world travel by submitting your digital photos on-line at www.flyfresno.com. The images will rotate throughout three separate monitors located next to the Starbucks kiosk where visitors and the travelling public can view and enjoy.
“We’re interested in those iconic images that best represent destinations from around the world as well as visuals from diverse cultures and experiences that world travel affords,” Director of Aviation Russ Widmar said.
The first phase of the display highlights “Places” or destinations that local residents have experienced. The second phase will highlight pictures that include “People” -- travelling companions or new acquaintances. It will be installed and operational at a date yet to be determined.
Seven carriers currently offer Valley passengers approximately 40 daily departures from Fresno Yosemite International. The Airport is a municipally owned entity operating as a self-supporting enterprise. No City of Fresno general funds are used to operate Fresno Yosemite International Airport or Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
