Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FYI) cordially invites the media for a ‘sneak peek’ of the soon-to-be completed ticket counter and baggage processing area inside the terminal. A guided ‘behind the scenes’ tour will be provided by Airports Director of Aviation Russ Widmar as well as some ‘inside information’ on the Sense of Place project scheduled for completion this summer.

WHAT: Sneak Preview Tour
WHEN: Friday, January 9, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
WHERE: Fresno Yosemite International Airport terminal lobby.
(Meet at the easterly entrance in front of the US Airways ticket counter)

Note: Hard hats will be provided. Please, no open toe or heel shoes. Soled shoes are highly recommended.

Nine carriers currently offer Valley passengers nearly 40 daily departures from Fresno. FYI is a municipally owned entity operating as a self-supporting enterprise. No City of Fresno general funds are used to operate Fresno Yosemite International or Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
