Additional Air Service Options at FYI

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is pleased to announce the addition of two daily flights to Los Angeles and added capacity to Phoenix, Arizona. Beginning August 25, American Eagle will add two daily flights to Los Angeles. US Airways Express will upgrade its early afternoon Phoenix bound aircraft with an Airbus A319 beginning September 9.

American Eagle’s addition of the two daily Los Angeles departures provides travelers with seven daily flight options through Fresno Yosemite International Airport to southern California and beyond. The newly added American Eagle flights to Los Angeles will depart at 10:30 am and 3:00 pm. American Airlines’ third seasonal Dallas/Fort Worth flight will end on August 25 and American will continue its two daily non-stops to Dallas/Fort Worth.

Phoenix bound travelers have the option of four daily departures on US Airways Express including the early afternoon Airbus A319 flight. The Airbus will carry up to 124 passengers over the current 86 passenger CRJ900 aircraft. The US Airways Express flight to Phoenix via the Airbus A319 will depart at 12:35 pm.

Eight carriers currently offer Valley passengers approximately 42 daily departures from Fresno. FYI is a municipally owned entity operating as a self-supporting enterprise. No City of Fresno general funds are used to operate Fresno Yosemite International or Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
