Fresno Yosemite International Airport continues to rank in the top ten out of 100 U.S. airports for on-time flight performance. According to the information released by the Department of Transportation Air Travel Report for the month of May, FYI ranked Fourth in on-time performance for both departures and arrivals.

Scoring 88.7% for on-time departures and 85.6% for on-time arrivals, FYI continues to perform in the top ten for on-time flight performance. In April, FYI earned the number one ranking for on-time departures and ranked second for on-time arrivals. These reports are based on data collected by the Department’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

FYI Airports Aviation Director, Russ Widmar stated, “We are proud that FYI continues to be among the leading national airport performers. Our repeated presence in the top ten on-time performance supports our goal to meet customer expectations.”

Nine carriers currently offer Valley passengers approximately 49 daily domestic and international departures from Fresno. FYI is a municipally owned entity operating as a self-supporting enterprise. No City of Fresno general funds are used to operate Fresno Yosemite International or Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
