| Effective September 2, 2008, ExpressJet will cease its intrastate air service to Long Beach, Ontario, and San Diego through Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The airline announced that it will discontinue its branded (XE) commercial passenger services due primarily to rising fuel prices which have made the operations impossible to sustain. | As of Wednesday, May 21, 2008, the Flight InformationDisplay System (FIDS) and public Wi-Fi internet service at Fresno Yosemite International Airport will be temporarily unavailable for approximately 30 days. The temporary service interruption is due to the ongoing construction of the terminal lobby remodel. | Fresno , CA (April 23, 2008) Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FYI) is excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary with ExpressJet for providing direct service from FYI to Long Beach, Ontario and San Diego. | FRESNO , CA (March 31, 2008) On April 7, construction will begin on the much anticipated Airport Baggage Claim Expansion and Terminal Remodel projects. In addition to the expansion and remodel, the “Sense of Place” theming project, specifically designed to reflect the personality of the region with replicas of the nearby giant Sequoia trees, will also begin.
