11/30/07  Mexicana Airlines Announces Daily Service
Fresno , CA – Mexicana Airlines will once again increase flight frequency from 5 flights per week to daily service to accommodate the busy winter travel season. The convenience of daily service from Fresno to Guadalajara, Mexico will provide business and leisure travelers with needed seat capacity for 60 days. FRESNO, CA - FYI wants everyone to enjoy their travel experience this holiday season, and offers these timely tips for travelers: · For all liquids, gels, and aerosols in carry-on, remember the 3-1-1 rule. They must be placed in a 3 ounce or smaller container; these containers must be placed in a 1-quart, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; and only 1 bag per passenger, and placed in a plastic bin for screening. Larger amounts of liquids, gels, and aerosols must be packed in checked baggage. >more

FRESNO, CA - As of Monday, November 5, 2007, parking in the short-term lot will be reconfigured to accommodate Rental Car Ready vehicles. 10/04/07  Detailed Directions For Rental Car Returns At Fresno Yosemite International Airport During Construction  
WHAT: As construction continues on the new Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, Ashley Way will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, October 8, 2007 until Friday, October 19, 2007. Rental car customers wishing to return their vehicles will need to take the Anderson Avenue detour to access the rental car return facilities. All rental car returns will need to proceed west on Clinton Way, one block past Ashley Way (past the Airport). >more

Fresno, CA (October 1, 2007) Fresno Yosemite International Airport enjoyed record breaking passenger traffic this summer. In July, 127,632 passengers flew to and from Fresno, the highest passenger record for commercial air travel at the Airport. This exceeded the Airport’s previous record traffic set in June with 127,091 passengers. >more
