ExpressJet Announces Branded Flying Rollout For Three New Cities Today
10/08/2007
Houston, October 8, 2007—Responding to demand for a new brand of flying to more cities in the Western U.S., ExpressJet Airlines announced it would start service from three new cities in time for the holiday travel season.

“ExpressJet is proud to introduce non-stop service to Long Beach, Santa Barbara, and the Greater Reno-Tahoe area,” said Jim Ream, ExpressJet President and CEO. “We look forward to helping more customers save time and have a better, more convenient travel experience.”

ExpressJet service to Long Beach Airport (LGB), Santa Barbara International Airport (SBA), and the Greater Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) will connect those growing cities to important destinations that do not currently have non-stop service prior to ExpressJet’s arrival.

ExpressJet will begin service to each of these three new destinations on November 11. The service to Long Beach Airport (LGB) represents the first service introduction in five years and ExpressJet’s commitment to serving convenient, secondary airports in the Los Angeles area. ExpressJet non-stop service from LGB will include flights to Greater Reno-Tahoe (RNO), Fresno (FAT) and Monterey, Calif. (MRY).

ExpressJet’s service additions in Santa Barbara include Sacramento (SMF) and San Diego (SAN). These two new non-stops will provide travelers to and from Santa Barbara an easy, quick and convenient way to reach both Northern and Southern California.

And, just in time for ski season, ExpressJet’s entry into the Greater Reno-Tahoe (RNO) airport providing service to Long Beach (LGB), Los Angeles/Ontario (ONT), Spokane (GEG) and Tucson (TUS) supplies travelers with three of their top destination choices – non-stop – from the Reno-Tahoe region.

ExpressJet also made additional updates to its fall schedule to better align service offerings with consumer demand as well as adding non-stop destinations from Spokane, Washington, Tucson, Arizona, and Omaha, Nebraska.

The ExpressJet brand of service includes a young fleet of fuel-efficient, quiet Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft configured with no middle seats, redesigned, memory foam leather seating, valet carry-on baggage service and complimentary, premium inflight amenities - more than 100 channels of XM® Satellite Radio plus name-brand snacks with full meal options on longer flights.

ExpressJet also has announced a more convenient way to take advantage of its travel rewards with the introduction of the JetSet frequent flier program, which rewards customers for how often they fly, not how far they go.

As a special introduction to the ExpressJet brand of flying, a limited-time JetSet promotion gives fliers who complete four round-trips or eight one-way flights between now and October 31, 2007 one free round-trip ticket to any ExpressJet destination.*

Tickets are available online at www.xjet.com as well as through most travelers’ preferred providers, including travel agents and online distributors.
