FYI Enhances Customer Service And Convenience With The Addition Of Starbucks

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is thrilled to announce the opening of Starbucks coffee conveniently located in the Airport terminal.
The new Starbucks officially opened for business on Tuesday, September 5 at 4:30 am to accommodate our early morning passengers. This new concession at FYI is in direct response to Airport customer requests, affording passengers and guests the ultimate Starbucks coffee experience.
The Starbucks at FYI will offer its traditional coffee and snack menu from 4:30 am - 9:00 pm Monday through Tuesday, and from 4:30 am - Midnight Wednesday through Sunday.
According to their website, Starbucks has 227 airport locations nationwide. With 27 kiosks spread among five airports, California leads the nation with the most airport Starbucks followed by Texas and Florida. Other California Starbucks located with in airports include Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose, Orange County, and now FYI. Typically located in larger traffic airports, the new Starbucks is a significant customer service achievement for FYI. Continuous record high passenger growth has contributed to the Airport’s success in attracting and supporting new business demonstrated when Starbucks chose to become a partner at FYI.
The new Starbucks created 17 service oriented full-time positions to staff the FYI kiosk. These are new, skilled jobs with the potential for career opportunities. Starbucks staff undergo an extensive orientation and fundamental training program to provide a solid foundation for future career advancement.
Ten carriers currently offer Valley passengers 50 daily departures from Fresno. FYI is a municipally owned entity operating as a self-supporting enterprise. No City of Fresno general funds are used to operate Fresno Yosemite International or Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
